Make this day a commitment to yourself, to self-love. You are the most important person in your life. If you don’t honor your self, how can you be your best self to you, your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or the other precious people in your life? Use Valentine’s Day to honor each and every aspect of yourself in a positive way. Pamper your self, indulge in a nice treat, buy yourself some roses, sing a song, honor your body with exercise, dance some calories away. As Earth, Wind, and Fire sing live in their prelude to one of their most beloved hits, That’s The Way Of The World, “Keep on moving, keep on grooving, keep on loving, keep on believing, yeah!” Say Yes to you! Happy Valentine’s Day!
I have to say, that everyone that is going thru a divorce and everyone who decided not to get married should read Divorce Wilderness Peace. This is not a negative; I started to read the book and could not put it down until I was finished. I knew Alexis but never knew of her past personal life. When I bought the book from her, I couldn’t wait to read it. I was shocked to read what women can go thru to have a marriage or be in a marriage. I know that all marriages are not always successful but I have to say with most of my friends they were not.
I called Alexis after I had finished reading the book, and said girl, I think I made some right decisions by not getting married and avoiding some of the trappings of marriage. The book reinforced for me that you can love, trust and find out, that may not be what it is. How can one know for sure if you are counting on your heart? To pull thru – You believe in a higher power to know that – you will survive and THRIVE. Thank you Alexis and Paula for sharing your stories. I am sure this book will help many to a better understanding of getting over………going over.
